Creating with Canva: Design Like A Pro With No Experience

Do you want to grow your business? Increase your traffic easily and effeciently to your business, blog or social media platforms. Want to gain an understanding of what makes a good design? and make it stand out?
This Canva workshop is designed to help any entrepreneur , solopreneur, business owner, marketer, advertiser or social media expert gain the advantage by using FREE online software, called Canva, to create stunning graphics and images.
What is Canva?
Canva.com is a website which is free to sign up and use. It is created by ex Google Employees. It allows you to create and design your own graphics and images for free, and has a library of free images to use (as well as some stock imagery available at a $1 per image should you wish to use them).
What you will learn in this workshop:
- Creating & setting up your account
- Navigation around Canva’s interface
- Selecting pre-made layouts and templates
- Adding artwork, images, text and backgrounds
- Creating 11 different types of project (Hands on Training) that can be used to help your business and branding
- Downloading and printing your designs

About Orzala Quddusi
Having recently joined the BACD team, Orzala was first introduced with BACD in 2014 volunteering in mentorship position with Summer Company program. Orzala is also currently the CEO and Founder of Make it Happen Services specializing in Social Media marketing services. She is also an active member of the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade since 2013.
Orzala began her journey earning a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, followed by earning a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree. In her free time, Orzala enjoys giving back to her community, participating in volunteer work through numerous local organizations
