Andrea Rowland
Andrea’s professional experience is a blend between creative thinking and business strategy. With an education in graphic design, she has over 20 years of international experience in marketing, branding and communications working in a variety of industries. She considers herself an entrepreneur running her own branding and marketing business, as well as being the founder of a craft brewery in Australia before she moved to Durham Region 10 years ago.

Andrea started working with BACD in 2016 as a business advisor and marketing specialist. Andrea shares her marketing expertise and hands-on business experience helping entrepreneurs develop effective value propositions, create marketing strategies and lead generation websites. Andrea guides entrepreneurs and businesses to embrace analytics and result-driven data as a strategy for creating marketing plans and improving business processes. Andrea loves tech and is constantly learning new software herself.

Ashley McBride
Ashley McBride joined BACD in January 2016 as the Program Coordinator for the Summer Company and assists with the Starter Company Plus Program. Ashley loves working with students, and watching their businesses grow throughout the program. Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management and a professional development certificate in Digital Marketing.

In addition to being the Summer Company Coordinator, Ashley is the person behind Client Services making sure your questions and needs are met! Ashley loves to get creative, therefore she works at creating/scheduling content for BACD’s social media.
