She Means Business – Women’s Networking Event
ThursdaySeptember 194:00PM - 6:00PM
She Means Business!
Join a community of female entrepreneurs for interesting conversations, connections and collaborations.
This month, we are having the networking event at Drinks and Dragons in Whitby. A Local business supporting the entrepreneurial community – love it. Drinks and Dragons is a third-wave board game cafe. They provide an amazing space for family & friends.
Topic: Wellbeing Through Creativity
There are many links between creativity and how it can positively impact our ability to rest, renew and problem solve; all important aspects for women who are juggling life and growing a business! And while we are lucky to have an abundance of classic self care techniques out there, very few address the importance of fun and play. That’s where we come in!
We believe in doing, not telling. We will talk (briefly!) about reasons to consciously add more creativity to your routine; spending the remainder of our time doing a creative activity designed to ground, offer personal and professional insights and lift each other up.
About The Presenters

Amanda Wilson and Kara Pierson are Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) who use creativity in their practices. Program coordinator Michelle James is a registered Social Services Worker and facilitator. We use our combined wealth of knowledge and experiences to offer this program to businesses and their employees.
