Up! Practical Sales Talks now in its 3rd year!

Up! Practical Sales Talks starts on January, 16 2019 with a success local entrepreneur sharing his sales story.

This practical and candid sales talks series by experts in the trenches has been a great success. “Not only is this a great business networking opportunity, it is also an inspiration to many local business owners”, says Teresa Shaver, Executive Director of Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD). “Hearing the journey of a ‘now’ successful business owner and the trials and tribulations they had to go through allows us to feel like we can do it too”, adds Teresa.

This event series is a collaboration between BACD, Town of Whitby and Frank Auddino of Vitaliz Inc. and it has been so successful that it is now moving into its 3rd year.

The speaker for January 16th’s event is Adam Mitchell, President, Mitchell & Whale Insurance Brokers which is a business located in Whitby, Ontario. Register for January 16, 2019

Adam is the 3rd generation Mitchell and took over the family brokerage in 2009. Adam will share his story of how he has grown the business organically over 1000%, while still maintaining a strong retention of existing customers. Last year the brokerage grew 46%, and is currently growing at $1 million net new premium every 51 days. Since 2009 he has taken the company from $2.5M in $25M in sales organically by using data based decisions.
